We depart daily from the Nonantum Resort located at 95 Ocean Avenue, Kennebunkport, ME.

There is plenty of free parking available at the Nonantum Resort.

We have a head on board but recommend using the restrooms at the resort prior to departure.

We are sailors, so we encourage you to bring your favorite recreational beverage. We supply complimentary soda and water, but please feel free to bring whatever you would like to enjoy and we can keep it on ice if needed.

We do see the occasional whale, but not frequently enough to call ourselves a whale watch. It’s more common to see seals, birds, and lobstermen at work.

We always recommend layers. It may be 80 degrees on land but the Atlantic keeps the AC on while we are sailing. Many days we will have shorts and T-shirts on at the dock and by the time we have sails up, pants, hats, and a fleece have been added. Sweatshirts are available for purchase.

Cancellation by guests:

Without Trip Protection: If per person bookings cancel 3 days or more prior to departure a full refund will be issued, private charters must give 5 day’s notice to receive a full refund.

With Trip Protection: If trip protection has been purchased guests may cancel or reschedule up to 2 hours prior to trip departure. Private Tours must provide 24 hours notice.

Cancellation by Pineapple Ketch:

Pineapple Ketch Sailing Charters reserves the right to cancel any trip due to severe weather, mechanical failure, or other circumstances that may compromise the safety of our passengers and crew.

In the event of a cancellation all guests will be offered the choice of rescheduling to a new date or receiving a full refund.

No-Show Policy:

Guests who fail to arrive for their scheduled departure, will not receive a refund.

Late Arrival:

Guests are encouraged to arrive to the boat at least 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time. For individual bookings, we depart the dock at the scheduled time and annot wait as other guests are onboard. If you miss the boat, it will be considered a no-show and no refund will be issued.

Private charters, late arrivals may result in a shortened trip, with no adjustment to the charter rate. Contacting us:

We recommend doing so at your earliest convenience to allow for the best possible outcome.

Arrive to the boat 10-15 minutes before your scheduled departure time. We depart the dock promptly at the scheduled time.

Dogs are welcome on private charters only.

Children ages 5 and up are welcome onboard. Please note the calmest sail of the day is typically the 10am. We strongly encourage anyone with children to book this trip. Everyone onboard regardless of age needs a ticket due to coast guard regulations. Please call to discuss a private charter if you have children 5 or under and are interested in sailing.
